Just curious! I know I try to reuse my freezer and storage bags, if possible. Also, we found the perfect size plastic cups for our kids to use, so I do wash and reuse them until they literally fall apart.

Well I know that my aunt that raised me... she would wash her storage bags... and then put them over the sink handle to dry each time she emptied one!!

Our newest one is that we split the trashbill with a neighbor. It has gotten that it now costs us $250 to have our trash picked up. So we were talking and came up with this idea. If only more people did, they could save some money. So I have to walk across the street to put my trash out, I have no problem doing it.

How much a month is your garbage??? but that is a good idea to split your garbage... I know we fill ours totally every week... so that would not happen here.. I do know that if we did not fill it weekly we can go and have it so they only pick up every other week...so that would be a helpful situation if we did not fill it up every week!

Sorry Yvonne, our yearly cost was $250. LOL Which I think is a sin. I guess because when I lived in the next county over, it was part of our taxes. We usually fill up a trash can twice a week. So our neighbor puts out one and we put out one.

I also wash and save the freezer bags. We haul our own trash to the huge dumpsters.
