Everyday approximately 1 - 2 Million Animals are slaughtered across the world to get chicken, mutton, beef, pork and what ever can be consumed. Animals are killed for their skins, teeth, bones and Meat. Is it justified to kill someone so that others can enjoy at the cost of a life. Please address this issue.

I think it is natural for humans to eat animal meat, but I do not think the way some farm and meat animals are kept is ok. I wish all producing animals were required to live free-range and be allowed to live well before they are farmed.

I agree to you only to certain level... i liked the point you raised regarding the living states in which animals are kept.

Pig slaughter - Pig slaughtering is something you see every year before Christmas in my country.
I honestly don't get all the fuss about slaughtering animals. I mean the pain isn't going to leave marks on the rest of their lives, BECAUSE THEY DIE! If we kill them does it matter if we slice their throats instead of giving an injection?

Yes... you are right that it doesnt leave a mark on them and they die... but taking a life is what matters most...

The cruelty of taking a life is one of the most common accuses vegetarian (or "vegan" as they call themselves, although vegan is a term that refers to the star Vega). What they fail to understand is that plants are living creatures too, and they kill plants to eat just as omnivorous people kill animals. I'd like to see them eat rocks :D I'm just being mean now, please forgive me, I couldn't help it.

You got me wrong... Its not only for meat for eating.. my point of discussion was that is it logical and reasonable to take a life for your desire.. be it clothes, shoes or for eating.. There is no question of Veggie or Carnivorous here.

First off you are not killing 'someone'. If we didn't consume meat, and make use of other parts of the animals, we would soon have an over population of animals, including hunting deer, bear, etc. The over population of animals would strain the land, forests, etc. there would soon not be enough for all those animals too eat and they would become more aggressive and start coming into populated areas.

You mean to say that by killing animals you are balancing the ECO-CYCLE.. you are wrong.. Yeah If you kill the predator more than the prey or vice versa then definitely you will cause an imbalance in the nature.. But you are not doing that right...
