How old were your children the first time you took them bowling?

I don't remember how old I was when I went bowling for the first time. My parents took us quite a few times each summer when they had specials where you could bowl each game for only .25 a game. I had a hot pink ball that weighed 6 lbs and when I was about 9 and on a league it was still to heavy for me so I never really enjoyed bowling. I could bowl better then than I can now. My father in law and his wife had a bumper bowling party for there sons 5th birthday party and my daughter loved it! She is 3 1/2. How old were you your first time bowling? How old were your children the first time you took them bowling?

My son was about 3 1/2 the first time he went bowling. It was for my nieces birthday party. He had a good time. He has only gone probably a dozen times in his life till now though. I just never think to take him. He is supposed to be going with cub scouts tomorrow, but since school closed early today and got canceled for tomorrow, I don't know if he will get to go.
