Dr. Pepper/ Diet Dr. Pepper ... Same taste?

I don't think it's exactly the same, but I think it's closer than any other diet drink comes to tasting like the original. If I really wanted to drink a diet pop, it would definitely be Diet Dr. Pepper! There have been a few times I've switched to diet pop temporarily, and this is the only one I'll buy.

I think they taste different. I personally only drink the regular. I think that the Diet Dr Pepper has that very distinct 'diet soda' after taste, which you don't get with the regular. One thing about the Diet Dr. Pepper that I do love...the old commercials. I LOVED the ones where the kind of spoofed things not being as good as the original. For example the one where they had people running through the snow with snowshoes on, while wearing bathing suits and called it Green-Bay Watch. Or where they had the Midevil Kinevil or the Holland Globe Trotters. Those were hillarious.

Yes, I think there is a BIG taste difference! UGH...I hate the taste of the diet Pepper. To me, it's a big enough difference I won't drink it at all.

I was a bit skeptical at first, but after trying Diet Dr. Pepper a while back I can say without any doubt that they really do taste the exact same. I've even done the old switch-a-roo with people to see if they can tell and nobody can tell the difference. It's funny, I drink diet sodas for the lack of sugar cause I usually don't like anything too sweet, but there's something about diet Dr. Pepper that makes it so good to me, and the diet tastes just the same as the regular.

I think that there is a similarity but regular Dr. Pepper is a little sweeter. I am addicted to Diet Dr. Pepper but the canned version has a lot more kick to it than the bottles.

nope i taste a difference but i like both. and since im trying to be good and only drink diet been mainly getting that. well unless i order chinese then get a reg dp
