Has anyone read "The Five People You Meet in Heaven"?  |

|  It's from the same author as "Tuesdays with Morrie". I love this book. It's so inspirational. I couldn't put it down. I finished it in one sitting. Of course, the book isn't a thousand pages long. I believe I finished reading it in about 4 hours or less.
Pick up a copy. If you like reading books about life and self-improvement, this is a must!

| |  I did. It packs quite a punch and left me wanting for more. Of course I had to use sneakier ways of getting that book because my mom thought that the book spoke of something else. I'm glad I was able to read it.

| | I haven't read the book but hope to one day. But I did see the made-for-TV movie with Jon Voight (Angelina Jolie's father) that aired shortly after my father died in early 2006. It was a very touching movie. I loved it and I am sure I would love the book too. My sister put the book in my father's casket. | | | | | | |

| | I didn't get to see the movie, but I heard about it. I don't think the movie can have the same impact as the book. But now that you've seen the movie and know details of it, I don't know if the book will have the same impact on you.
Regardless, get a copy and read it. I've read it twice and after a few months, I'll probably re-read it again. Kind of like a user's manual for life!

| |  hey, i was just searching around on the internet and i came across your question.
i read the five people you meet in heaven about two months ago. i can honestly say,
i hate reading, and i havent picked up a book for leisure in a while. but i can say that
this book CHANGED.MY.LIFE. honest to god, i feel like im living in another world. my view
on everything has changed. everything is more important to me than before, i make sure
to capture each moment as it was my last, even though i am just a budding high school student.
i cannot get over the this book, i have told everyone to read it, so maybe they will feel the same way.
i just picked up tuesdays with morrie this afternoon at school. ive been reading nonstop for a little while now,
and i cannot put it down.
thanks for letting me share my deepness. LOL.
