Alzheimers and spicy foods  |

 Alzheimers is a big problem in the world today and I just saw a discussion with a doctor that reports seem to suggest that spicy food could very well be a prevention to Alzheimers.
With the huge population of India a study has shown they have the least amount of Alzheimers in the world that the experts suggest could be connected to the spices they add to their food...

I love curries and we eat alot of curries.
I do not think it is working with my partner though.
He seems to forget everything I say to him. LOL

He uses every pot and pan, makes the biggest mess ever and does not know how to clean up after himself. | |

AD begins slowly. It first involves the parts of the brain that control thought, memory and language. People with AD may have trouble remembering things that happened recently or names of people they know. Over time, symptoms get worse. People may not recognize family members or have trouble speaking, reading or writing. They may forget how to brush their teeth or comb their hair. Later on, they may become anxious or aggressive, or wander away from home. Eventually, they need total care. This can cause great stress for family members who must care for them.
If eating a spicy food would helped us to prevent this sickness....then I should go for it.
