I have never really had a career so to speak. I wanted to go to college but never had the c hance or the opportunity to do so. I have worked many jobs in my lifetime though and now I am at home trying to earn money online. This is not how I planned my life to be but it is what it is. I do my best with all that I have and go from there.

I would not say that I have really had a career, at least I have not felt so. I always wanted to be a mom, then grandma, and I am. I have been a home daycare provider, a bus driver, a para educator, housekeeping, personal care, and other positions in a nursing home. I also have been a certified nursing assistant, certified medication aid, social services designee, activity director. I am currently a paraeducator and also a residential staff support person. I just have never given my heart fully to any of those positions. I am looking to "change careers" or at least jobs right now. I want to be able to just work one job, but also pay my bills. I will always need to work with people, that is just me. The many changes at the very least, will help prevent Alzheimers.

I am doing that right now. I have had a successful career, left it, and am now taking some time out whilst I decide what to do next. Of course it isn't really that simple, but I did not want to spend another 10 years doing what I had been working at for the previous 31.

I have never heard that before..I wonder why they would have to change their careers three times in their lives..wonder what makes them so much different from other people...anyways...I think that people change careers for different reasons..Ive had the same source of income...I really like what i do and couldnt really see myself doing anything else right now..
