I'm a Leo, and some degree it's true. Do you believe what you hear about yours?

No I don't believe it because it's incorrect and far too generalized. Unfortunately this type of horoscope astrology is too narrow to confine yourself into. You are not just a Leo. How can you define yourself to being just this. Narrow thinking. Astrology is a blueprint of your characteristics which are not defined just by the sign your Sun was in when you were born. You are influenced by all the planets above your head. You need to have a proper reading and start to find out what other planets were aspected to your Sun, look at where the Moon was, where Venus and Mars were, Jupiter and Saturn, Pluto, Uranus, Neptune. So you are NOT a Leo, you are much much more diverse in personality and characteristics.
If you want a free chart done let me know and I'll oblige. I need your date of birth, place of birth (town of the hospital), and exact time as documented on birth records.

Oooh, I never said I based my life on it or anything. I just know to some degree it's true, and nah. I'm fine. I can do without one, thanks for the offer though. :P

My apologies if I sounded too brash with my response. I have been doing astrology for over 10 years and I know people miss out on allot of good information by only looking at one aspect of it. Astrology is fascinating and that is what I wanted to pass to you by giving you your free chart. I don't push it down peoples throats and so there are absolutely no strings attached to the offer other than to give you information.
Take care.

I'm a Leo too, and for me, reading my horoscope is just some sort of entertainment. I mean, I read it when it comes across my way, like when I see it on the free newspaper on the subway, or at the back of an officemate's magazine. But I don't really go mad over it, and try to follow it come what may. My grandmother would read and follow hers everyday, and she lets it affect whatever actions or decisions she makes.
Sometimes its really fun because some of the things written in the horoscopes are actually true. Like my personality---I find it funny when I read the characteristics of a Leo which includes being proud, trying to be the center of attention, being haughty and so on....Because that is so me.
I most especially like to read the daily horoscope of some people I know, like my boyfriend, who is a Virgo. Last Valentine's day I was hinting that I would really, really love it if I receive some flowers in the office. And his horoscope says "Try sending flowers." And I was like "He has got to read this!" But he didn't. Anyway, his horoscope told him something he should try doing that would make somebody really happy (Me.)

..that's very interesting! how his horoscope for that day said what you wanted to say to him, and what would have been very beneficial if he'd followed the advice.. Considering each person is made up of many different astrological elements, a horoscope is somewhat hit and miss..

hi! I'm an astrologer, so I know that each person is made up of many different astrological elements.. like jewels, having many different facets.. The sun sign being only one, and how other astrological configurations / relationships can outshine it in places.. But it's still there! So I may have contradictory characteristics.. but at the center, even if it shares the spot with others, will still be my taurean tendencies and slant on reality..

I'm a Virgo on the cusp of Libra (which basically means I'm Virgo with Libra traits mixed in) and yes its very accurate...BUT Astrology is about more than just your sun sign..In fact an Astrological Profile is very detailed...I've done profiles for ppl (keep in mind they are always astrology and numerology done together) that were over 15 pages long....
I think one of the problems some ppl have with their Sun Signs is the simple fact that they dont like to see ALL of themselves...just the good stuff....If more ppl could take off the rose coloured glasses when reading about themselves I think more would find that things like Astrology, Numerology and the like are actually very accurate....

Im a Tauras and my husband is a leo. It is said for the most part we are not that compatible b/c we are both stubborn and hardheaded. This is true, we bump heads all the time, but thats what makes me love him more. For your question I believe for the most part the astrological signs but i dont follow horoscopes b/c those are differant in my eyes. I know that i am a bull though.
