Best player in the Essex Squad

Who in your opinion is the best player inthe Essex squad?
At the moment I would have to say Alastair Cook, although with his England position I am not sure how much cricket he is actually going to play for the first team.
At the sametime I also like James Foster, although he hasn't perhaps fulfilled the potential he exhibited early on
