Black Elk Speaks, the Bible, etc. The Secret really helped me get my current job, and Your Infinite Power Rich by Joseph Murph, D.D (Doctor of Divinity-a Minister in this case) really changed a lot of things for me last week. So what book or books have changed your life? Why or how (if you don't mind telling)? Thanks

| |  I have recently read:-
GROWING UP TOUGH by Taylor Caldwell.
This is her autobiography.
This lady met with such adversity in her life that
it was practically unbearable.
It taught me a big lesson.
I always knew that life was not meant to be easy.
The book confirms this and uplifts ones
spirit and gets you to appreciate wat you currently
have.

| |  I had a tv show change my life.
Believe it or not, it was Star Trek.
Thru Star Trek I discovered science fiction and my interest in life! Before I was just trying to get along under the "radar" so to speak, but after science fiction, I always had a goal, the next book to read or movie to see or episode of what ever show I'm interested in to watch. Currently Doctor Who and Torchwood.

| | Oh, I believe it. I watched the "A -Team" when they were talking about excepting death. It really helped me to do that. Especally since I was working in a prison at the time, it made going in less scary- until I realized there are things worse than death- like torchure. Anyway, it helped for awhile. | |  Well I have just started to read the Secret, I must say there sure are alot of Ahaaa momets in there. Who new we had that much power over all we acheive and have in this life. I am loving it so far. I also have a prayer book I enjoy alot and use all the time. It is a book full of prayers by women from all over and from times gone by and the present. Great book. It is called Soul Weaving, A gathering of womens prayers. Wonderful. Edited by Lyn Klug.

Have you seen the diary that goes with the Secret? Very expensive. I would think a person can use any kind of blank journal to write and do just as well.
