Help me find out if I am justified or not.

I am convinced that I need a Cricut. It is a craft cutting maching. It cuts letters and shapes out of paper and vinyl. I saw it and liked it and for the last little bit I have been thinging of ways that it could simplify my life, save me money, or just be fun. It is $300 which is a ton. My hubby said I can buy it but he knows I would never buy anything like this with out thinking it through. I was thinking we could put some letters on the walls instead of painting, since I dont have much of a steady hand. I can buy old furniture for the kids and then put cutouts on them to decorate them like more expensive pieces. We can make cards and tags for holidays. Is this ever possibly going to save me as much as I am spending on it?
