Hillary Clinton on SNL? What do you think of that?

Obama made an appearance last October so I guess Hillary figured it was her turn to reach out to the "little people". She said she just wanted to relax and have fun. Of course her appearance was a well kept secret and that is the part I don't understand. Why can't they let people know she is going to be on the show beforehand? I'm sure that would give the show some higher ratings for that night anyway. Did you see this particular show? I don't watch SNL any more so I didn't have the privilege. You can read all about it at this link:http://www.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/03/01/clinton.snl/index.html?iref=mpstoryview

Anything to grab the attention of the world to get our votes is what these people will do and it doesn't matter what it is as long as the american people are ok with it. Even if it's copying after someone else. What ever floats her boat and flops her mop.

I no longer watch SNL either, ctry, but the fact of Hillary Clinton making a guest appearance on the show is nothing out of the ordinary. Down through the years I have witnessed almost every potential Presidential candidate appearing on the show. In all honesty, I believe the show has a very political side to it. SNL is known for the political spoofs on most of the past Presidents.

Saturday Night Live is about Comedy... about Live Comedy. About sketch comedy. About the unexpected... So why would they tell you to expect that they're going to have a shocking surprise of so and so on their show? Like... one time when Pam Anderson and TOmmy Lee were together, Pam was a host and Tommy made an unexpected appearance. Back when Obama was on...it was an unexpected appearance.
It's that, that makes it funny. It wouldn't be half as funny if they knew.
Also I disagree with you saying that she "figured it was her turn to reach out to the little people" because Senators and Political figures have been making surprise guest appearances on SNL For YEARS.
To name a few:
Mayor Rudy Giuliani
Rev. Jesse Jackson
Mayor Ed Koch
Presidential Candidate Ralph Nader
Presidential Press Secretary Ron Nessen
President Gerald Ford said the "Live From New York" line...
Senator John McCain
and...so on.
