I haven't been to a salon in I don't know how long. Its been years, probably like 20. After I got my divorce I couldn't afford it and started cutting my own hair. I've been doing it ever since. Recently, though, I've really been thinking I would like a new look and would love to be able to afford to go in and just get a major overhaul. It might be fun and then again it might be disastrous. LOL.

Hello dear ersmommy. I do not go to a major salon for my haircut as it is too expensive for me. I usually go to my favorite country lane barber shop for a hair chut and she charges us very cheaply. It is only fifteen RMB, around two American dollars, for a man's haircut. She knows what kind of hair style I like, so I do not have to tell her about that. There were some other times when I went to a different barber shop for a hair cut and in the end I did not like it and would come back to her again to have my hair re-cut. Just this afternoon I went to her barber shop for a nice haircut and I like the way she cuts my hair, which makes me feel confident walking on the street because I am satisfied with it. Thanks.

When I get my hair done it usually costs over 100$. I get it bleached, dyed pink purple and teal, it usualy gets washed about two or three times and I get it cut, dryed and straightened. The last time I was there I was there for six hours. I find that paying more for a hair cut you play for the quality. They do a haircut in their interview and that is why you pay more for a higher quality cut. If your hair cutting ability is underpar you will end up working in a place that only charges 10$ a cut. The price reflecting the ability fo the hair dressers.
