 Well it is now 03 March and the daffodils have started sprouting and now we have snow. YES SNOW!!!
How can we have a sunny morning, a wet afternoon and a snowy night.
I just wanted to let you all know this is what Scotland is like.

3.  iamzhh (105) | 2 years ago |  from 28th January to 1st Feb there is a heavy snow in Shanghai. I think it's not strange that it snows in Scotland. Pls see my avatar, this photo was taken by me in my campus on 29th January. What a great white world!!

Can the high latitude be the reason of snowing in your place?
In fact I havn't seen such a heavy snow in Shanghai until that day. In the past years I can only saw snow in air falling but can't see any white on the ground in Shanghai. | |

| livinghealthy (11) | 2 years ago |  I live in East Tennessee, USA about 1 hour from the Smokey Mountains. Definetly no snow here. Yesterday was around 65 and sunny, blue skies. We did have about 1-2" last week. It is the only snow we have seen this winter and I gave my kids a snow day from school. The snow was gone by mid morning and did not even snow 3 miles away. We would love to have more snow, but I am afraid that winter may be over for us.

I lived in the Canadian Rockies for a while and the snow there was crazy. 3 feet when we arrived and it was minus 30 celcius but it felt like 0 celcius in Scotland cos Scotland is so wet and chills you to the bone. | |

| 5. Eskimo (1725) | 2 years ago |  Your probably to young to remember when it snowed most years until March, in fact quite often it used to stay for most of the first three months. There has even been some in April & May as well, what puzzles me though is that these days with even a little bit of snow the whole country grinds to a halt.
When I had a paper run (around the middle of the last century), there was only a few days when the snow wasn't cleared fast enough and I was unable to use my bicycle and that was over 6 or 7 years.

Yes I am far too young. When I was 10 it was 1994. Take that split up when I was 11. Kurt Cobain died when I was 10. So I bet you that makes you feel old. | |
