My Dad

Hello and welcome to Mylot. I am sorry to hear of your loss. I understand because my father also died of lung cancer. My mother died of chronic obstructive lung disease three years ago this April. I have been there and it is hard to face that they are no longer with us. However, I do not believe in death...only other realms and the love lives on.

There are many here who have lost loved ones and they find the open, warmth of members of great comfort. Hopefully you will discover others who are grieving and draw strength from them.

I had never participated in a discussion forum of any kind before Mylot. I love this community and the people here genuinely care. I hope you will take care of yourself...grieving takes a lot of energy and everyone needs time to process the loss.

I am sorry to hear that. I hope your will recover back to health. Maybe you can ask your father drink the Traditional Chinese Medicine, it moght be helpful.

wow im extemly sorry about your loss. i had an uncle that died from brain cancer. it seems like it runs in the family, having my mother and aunt having cancer. its reallys scarry.

i can't imagin what your going through, so the best i could do is say sorry. so sorry. i hope things get better for you.

Condolence on your loss. I lost my dad to lung cancer over 7 years ago, and we are currently reliving the experence with my uncle who was diagnosed right at christmas time.

If you need to talk/type about it, there are plenty of people on mylot willing to read/reply to you.

Just take one day at a time and look after yourself and yours.

I'm sorry to hear that.But don't feel too sad. The dead has gone,and the living ones still have to live on. My dead passed away because of leukemia when i was eight years old, it was really a sad thing. So i can feel exactly what you feel like now. What i want to tell you is that Be strong,you still have your mother, your other relatives and your friends. Welcome to mylot and you will find a lot of new friends here.

I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. I lost my dad to lung cancer nearly two years ago.

It won't be easy, but you will be able to get through this awful time. Live each day as it comes. Say prayers for your dad. Let happy memories of him brighten your day, and take care of yourself. God bless.

I am so sorry to hear that from you. It is hard to lose someone you love. Well it just tells you that Smoking and excessive exposure to pollution is bad because it kills specially your father. And then you have to do your part and you know what it feels like to have a lung cancer.. So take a lesson from there. My condolences.

Its very difficult to find the words to say when someone has passed away that you love dearly. Just know that you always have wonderful memories of them and he is no longer suffering from this horrible disease. My Dad also died of Lung Cancer and it is a tragic waste of life. Take each day as it comes and you will find yourself stronger with each one.
