What is your preferred method of shopping?

I like to shop at garage sales and craft sales within walking distance of my home. No $ for gas and get to know my neighbor's interests and abilities. What is your favorite method of shopping?

I love yard sales and thrift shops! You never know what you're going to find and the bargains can't be beat.
I haven't done much of either since moving here to Ohio, but I'm still hopeful that we will be experiencing spring some time in the near future (one can only hope!) and I'll be able to get out there some.

I always need a list or have in mind what it is I am looking for, before I leave the house. I have a few stores that I shop at exculisively and unless I go out with friends or family I usally stay true to those stores.

Ebay does have some neat stuff. Hopefully I'll have extra money to be able to shop there, too, someday. But the postage and handling kill me for most of the items I want. But some things even with P & H, it's still a really good deal. Thanks and take care.

I love to go to the town center and shop but this is because it is so close for me I dont have to drive or get a bus. I dont like to spend lots of money shopping and there for by going into the town I always go to all the shops for what I want and then get what I want from the best priced place. I would love to do more shopping on line but I like to see and try what I am getting before paying money for it and I know you can send things back but for me this takes time out of my life that I just dont have.
