I was playing the brain game on MSN with my good friend last night, and although it was late at night, i know for sure that this question was real. . We both remember it. . What insect can live 9 days without its head.. and .. its a cockroach.. geez. are those things darn near indestructable ? So the body lives.. but what does it to ? just scuddle around bumping into things endlessly for 9 freaking days ? WEIRD.

That is so gross, it reminds me of the movie Mouse Hunt where the guy eats half a cockroach and the other half is walking around..Oh, my, I wasn't really hungry before, but now I am Really not hungry..

I only mentioned the eating part because that was the only time I have seen half a cockroach walking around and I thought that was very creepy..

That is really freaky! So I guess in order to kill them we have to step on their bodies and make sure that they are flattened real good so that they would not stand up and walk again. LOL!

I had heard that once before. It seems they are determined to stay alive! Can't you just see them running around without heads on them? They are already disgusting with their heads on.

Yeah, usually the more hated or disliked creatures, the greater their perseverance is when it comes to keeping themselves alive. Or else, they have long gone extinct. But I'm still quite amazed that they can live for 9 days long without head.
