|  Recently, although not much has been broadcast in the news, certainly nothing like all the politician and celebrity exposure, a link has been admitted by the US government between autism and vaccines. The latest statistics show 1 in 155 vaccinated children develop autism. I found this somewhat confusing since all states are mandating and in some cases enforcing vaccines. Now our children receive 23 different vaccines. I found this video by a reputable doctor that explains exactly how vaccines work and why we need them to control widespread illness.

| |  mizrae I have been following this sad news for a couple of years now. I thank God none of my children were ever affected by this link, and it has caused me to wonder if there are triggers that cause to to be more prevalent in some cases than others. As an example, I would never let the doctors/nurses give my children vaccines if they were the least bit sick, colds, fever anything like that. I was told by a doctor when my first child was born that this was very dangerous, and even though other doctors along the way said it didn't matter, I just never allowed it. There has got to be some correlation why some children are affected and others aren't. I hope they find a resolution soon, our children are in danger if they don't get the vaccines, and then you have to wonder if they are in more danger if they do. It is a difficult place for parents to be in.

| |  Hmmm I haven't heard that statistic before mizrae - do you know if they had a statistic for those that weren't vaccinated? Over here there was a scare with vaccinations and the link to autism which left many parents with a fear of having their child vaccinated - this resulted in many illnesses that had all but disappeared rearing their ugly heads again and many people do not realise that these illnesses can be killers! I am still not convinced that there is a connection between autism and vaccinations - autism has always been around it just didn't have a name and wasn't widely recognised years before vaccines were discovered! xxxx

| | As I watched this video, the speaker explained that there is a chemical preservative, whose scientific name I can't pronounce let alone spell, has mercury in it or is a type of mercury. This mercury adheres itself to the brain cells or nerve endings in the brain which develops into mental problems. Not all become autistic, but have other neurological disorders. Watch the video, it probably explains it better than I ever could. And I just heard the correct figures are 1 in 175 compared to 1 in 10,000 just twenty years ago. While our so-called protective agencies continue to claim there is no danger and all the mercury has been removed (which tells me it was in the vaccines and we were not informed), Dr. Len Horowitz (not the same one in the video)wrote an article with much more chilling facts: http://www.tetrahedron.org

| |  I have heard of this link between vaccines & autism before. I dont think they have ever really proved it.
I dont want to risk not having my kids vaccinated. I even let my daughter, when she was 13 years, have the new vaccine for cervical cancer.
I wonder how it is that vaccines can cause autism?

| | Some honest scientific data is stating it's the ethyl mercury in the preservative agent. I subscribe to several "health" newsletters (the main one I really like is Natural News) and ALL of them advise against this vaccine. Dr. Len Horowitz at a separate website has a lot more to say about vaccines in general and none of it good. We have been led into believing these vaccines are for our good as a whole, when in reality a lot of quality research is starting to show compromise of our immune system, neurological damage, infertility and sterility in some, and a whole host of other problems. I can't help but wonder why these studies are not getting out to the general public. Why wouldn't I want to hear about these rather than constantly seeing news about celebrities or the constant bombardment of these presidential candidates that are telling me nothing? | | | |
