Can any one please what are the new features of .Net 3.0
I have been using .Net 2.0 which is Visual studio 2005

Well i also using Visual Studio 2005 edition and it is based on .net framework 2.0 and the newer version i.e visual studio 2008 works on .net framework 3.0. I think its the only advancement in technology where they both are using, and .net 3.0 is faster and efficient than .net 3.0 and also some features i think AJAX is the most important of them which i probably hear something in the sites...

2.LINQ (Language INTERGRATED Query) along with its various provider
i)LINQ to objects
ii)LINQ to XML
iii)LINQ to SQL
3.Paging support for ADO.NET
4.ASP .NET AJAX is used
5.New System.CodeCom is included
6.Asynchronous network I/O API
