YES they have the best coffee =P. Some people argue that the best may be Tim Horton's - I don't have a Tim Horton's here to compare it to. I grew up near Seattle - the grand home of Starbucks. As a kid I hated coffee, I thought my parents were literally poisoning themselves on this brew. It's definitely an acquired taste, and I still take my drip with cream and sweetener, usually flavored sugar free creamer. My 'poison' of choice at Starbucks is a skinny latte in a range of flavors. They tend to have nice rich strong coffee, and I like it that way. I also like the holiday and seasonal varieties introduced during different times of year. I've tried other places such as SBC (Seattle's Best Coffee) and Tully's and some little mom and pop local coffee houses but they must all use different beans or a different roast. Almost any coffee will do in a pinch but I prefer Starbucks, bottom line. Starbucks also is not generally much more expensive than the other places AND if you order a specialty drink and sit there awhile, they will refill you with regular drip coffee for free.

No, I'm not addicted to starbucks coffee. I'm a coffee lover but I'm not a starbucks fanatic. I must admit they have good service and they serve good coffee, but the other coffee shops serve good coffee as well. I love to try different all of them because there's always something special in each shop.

Usually I switch among several coffee houses. Starbucks has the best friendly atmosphere.

I used to think I was, but then I discovered Daz Bog in my local coffee shop - The Pour House (cute, huh?) They no longer serve it, they prefer to roast their own. But one of these days, I plan to go to Denver and get some Daz Bog for myself, and to have at my office.
