Do you tend to eat usual veggies such as potatoes, tomatoes, corn, or beans? Do you go out of the ordinary and like spinach, collard greens, radishes? What way do you like to cook your favorites? I love green beans and I like to make cassarole with mushroom soup and fried onions. I also love baby boiled potatoes with garlic and parsley. Also tomatos straight from the garden with italian dressing.

I love green beans, runner beans and brocolli but don't have them often as I'm the only one who eats them. We tend to stick with Cauli, swede, carrotts, potatoes and my hubby loves roast parsnips on sundays. I like doing cauli and brocolli in my own made cheese sauce. I do like new potatoes in the summer, and in a garlic butter type sauce thing that you can get from te supermarket.

I definitely go out of the "ordinary". My favorite...hhmmm...probably yellow squash. I prefer most veggies lightly steamed or sauted, maybe with pepper and garlic. I love tomatoes, mushrooms and onions lightly sauted then put on grilled cheese sandwiches, pizza, tortillas, omelets...pretty much anything. Cucumbers are probably my favorite to eat raw. I guess I should have simply said I just cannot pick an absolute favorite! lol

Hi, I have never really been a huge fan of vegetables. However, if I was to pick one it would be broccoli. I actually quite like it. My second favourite would be cauliflower. :) cheers,

I tried an experiment earlier this year where we tried a new vegetable, or a new way of preparing an old one, every week. We tried some things that we don't want to try again, like cooked radishes which nobody in my family enjoyed. And we tried some things that we'd never had before & now want to have all the time, like chicory. It's been a really new experience for us, and particularly good for the kids who have looked upon it as an adventure. We ate a pretty varied diet anyway, but anything that can extend your choices has to be looked upon positivly. My personal favourite veg has to be cherry tomatoes, but I like to take them plain straight from the garden whilst they're still warm from the sun. I alos love butternet squash as it's so versatile. You can mix it with anything and it's delicious. My favourite way of preparing it is to make it into a soup along with sweet chestnuts. Mmmm!
