Do you hate to cook, but love collecting easy-to-make recipes?

If you're like me, you'd rather someone else did all the cooking and cleaning, even though you know how. But still, you love looking at recipes and collecting the ones that look easy to make and are hopefully delicious. How many of you have found perfect recipes that taste like you did a lot more work than you really did? Recipes that are easy and don't take much time at all? Can you share them with me?
I just love recipes and kitchen gadgets, but I really don't like the actual cooking that much. So, I try to find the kind that are easy to put together and taste great. I'm sure I'm not the only person out there. Even if you like cooking, but also like recipes that are easy to fix - share them! I'd love to see what you can put together. I do most of the cooking for my elderly mother, so I could use ideas that are fast and affordable. I have a few myself I can share, too.

I love to look at recipes in cook books, but I also like to cook. It is the cleaning up afterwards that I do not look forward to. I will sometimes sit in the kitchen and just flip through a cookbook trying to get ideas on what to make for dinner. I even started to make a list of things I want to try and what page they are on and in what cookbook.

Well, hey, Lilybug - fancy meeting you here! LOL 
You sound a bit like my Mom. But, her recipes are all in her head and she used to plan everything out in advance. She'll even ask me at BREAKFAST if I know what I'm making for dinner yet. 
I can laugh, but I'm more an "off the cuff" kind of person, unless something pops in my head that I decide on first. Like I decided last night to make German Beef Rouladen for tonight's supper. And, I actually did. It turned out pretty good. But, last night's supper, I didn't know for sure until about 10 minutes before I started it. I'm just not the domestic goddess she was. 
But, you and all the others are just great about helping me out here. Thank you!! Thank you!! Thank you!!!

I know this is an old post. But I wanted to go through some old posts if my friends here. So here I am years later responding. Yes, I don't like to cook but I do look and collect some good easy to make recipes. I know some people like to cook, but I would say most people don't.
