When you are going to enjoy a bowl of pudding or jello or pie
and want to put a dollop of cool whip on top
do you first thaw the cool whip
or
do you keep the cool whip in your freezer til ready to use and scoop it out frozen?
I really prefer to have mine frozen - it is so cold and good... my friend keeps hers out and it is warm and I do not like it like that much at all.

Hands down I prefer it frozen :))) It only takes a few minutes to thaw for company, but I keep a bowl in the freezer all of the time.

Never thought about serving it frozen, I always thaw it. LOL
This is one thing that I could eat right out of the bowl. I remember as a kid I would do this and I would get caught every time.
I couldn't eat it room temperature. That just sounds nasty. LOL
I know a gal, who has a son, who is allergic to milk, I think. And she serves him frozen cool whip while the other kids are eating ice cream. Good thinking.

Thanks for the best response.
Just an update on this discussion.
DON'T ever stir frozen cool whip. It will not help it thaw faster. Actually by the time it was thawed it was only about 1/3 of the bowl. After I stirred it, I read the label and it clearly states, do not stir. LOL
