Why men are so into rock music?

It's not just guys that like rock music. I love rock music and I am female. Everyone has their own taste in the type of genre they like. I think what you are talking about is heavy rock or metal that you can't understand the lyrics. If you are not into the music of course you are not going to know what they are saying but if you are into the music then you are going to know what they are saying. Not all rock is heavy maybe try listening to some lighter stuff like Fleetwood Mac, Aerosmith, Van Halen, The Beatles etc. There are many to choose from.

I loved it when I was younger, all the way from the Stones to Punk. But these days I prefer listening to more mellow music, and avoid Hard Rock. I'm not saying I don't like it; but I avoid it. I prefer softer more melodic music...Romantic Pop, Soul, Jazz, Swing, Bossa Nova, Folk, Classical.
