ice age 3..

i see trailer for this cartoon and look promising!

My immediate thought was *Great* as I loved the first two and can only hope that the third will make me laugh as much as the other two.

Dinosaur? Ice Age? Aside from the fact that the animals talk to each other - in English, no less! - I think that this is a bit too anachronistic.

Hey, why not? Everyone else seems to be doing it. Look at all the trilogies there are. It will probably not be as good as the first or even the second, but parents will take their children to go see it and that is what the movie makers are hoping for.

It looks relatively interesting, but seems to be happening before the events of the original Ice Age story. I think it could still be original and charming, because it isn't really a sequel, just another story set in a prehistoric time. The kids get a chance to passively see some renderings of animals from a long time ago. (Intelligent design loving parents might want to ban the movie or explain why God gets bored and redecorates the planet every million or so years.)
