| I really did not realize all of the health benefits of using the spice Rosemary in cooking. I do like its flavor but seldom use it. You can check out the link below to read about its antioxidant properties and how it can help fight everything from GI distress to cancer! I wish I knew more ways to use Rosemary in my cooking. | | I have a use for Rosemary that I just love...it may not extend the full benefits of the cooked version..but I take it off my plant outside my door and wash the stems carefully...then I place it in a mesh bag and put it in freshly squeezed lemonade...I leave the rosemary in the lemonade for a few hours and even overnight...I LOVE the flavor..and I can remove it when I want...without leaving the sprigs in the pitcher...but usually just before serving I will put in new just for the great look... I have tried it with many juices and even in water with cucumbers!!! It really adds a great subtle flavor depending on how long you leave it in!! I do use it in cooking...eggs, meats, chicken, fish, potatoes...anywhere I want a little extra flavor!! | | | | | | |

Being a Jamaican much attention is paid to herbs and spices as natural remedy, especially by the older folks.
