Getting a Facelift?

i won't and will never do such thing...

im totally contented of how the way i look...
the money i will spend for face lift can be given to charitable
institutions wherein lots of people need more important help

i don't want to judge people who just want to look good and feel good
that's their choice in life and i respect that.

Rose I would be scared witless to have a facelift!!!lol even tho maybe it would be a good idea!!!
My sister has regular botox and I can always tell when she has had it...after one lot she looked `startled`!!!!...and her mouth was moving differently.

No I wouldn't. I think the risks for any surgery are too great to have one only for cosmetic purposes. The only instance where I can see it is in cases of actual disfigurement, where I know miracles are performed and are worth the risk, due to improvement in quality of life.

Rose, I have thought about this a number of times, and the answer would be NO. I just don't love pain that much to put myself through that kind of torment. I would not mind the non-invasive type of face lift that is done in the doc's office. They take something like suture wire that has tiny barbs in it to hold the underlying flesh in the proper place and the results are amazing. People can have that done on their lunch hour and go back to work with minimal discomfort for most people.

The threat of infection is just too great for me. I have seen so many people with wounds that won't heal from staph and pseudomonas (another germ you don't want under the skin)that I just wouldn't put myself through something that could deform me for life.

Part of my answer stems from that fact alone of the risks involved and part of it is because my own personal thoughts are one is to age gracefully.,.old-fashioned I know, but that is how I feel about that.

Also I feel that there are things that one can do to keep your skin looking youthful, even when aging..I have seen many beautiful women that are older without face lifts because they have healthy glowing skin.

I would not have a face lift. I don't think my creator makes mistakes so I am happy with what I see in the mirror.

I would never get a facelift, even if I had the money. We all age so I don't see what the point is in trying to combat that by getting dangerous, expensive, unnecessary surgeries. I wouldn't even go for botox or things like that because I'm human. I age. I get over it. I don't see why most people can't accept that. I can only see one exception being if I were in an accident that disfigured my face and I needed cosmetic surgery to repair it.

no, i will not get one because due to the advances in medicine, there are now plenty of non-invasive treatments to make us look younger. i'd go for that than risk my life. and i will always put in my head, that, whatever i do, i would get old and look old if i die old.:)

lol given that im 24yo and everyone asks me what grade in highschool im at i guess for a while i wont need it:p but should i get to the point of needing one, no i would not...im myself, and its natural to age also in looks...im scared when i see those botoxed vips taht all look like the same wiht those un natural faces all spread and smooth as if they just used an iron on them:P

I will keep my wrinkles and use them as a reminder of all the laughter and worries i had in the years before...

I am not fussed on getting a facelift. I will make do with the face creams and if they dont work well thats they way i am meant to be. MRSA is a deadly infection and it is not worth putting your life at risk, and your partner and friends will love you the way you are.
