Is there something you REGRET about your life so far?

My partner and I were talking about regrets earlier, and whether we had any.
I think I regret missing opportunities throughout my life, but I look upon regrets as being pretty pointless really. If I had done different things in my life then I wouldn't be where I am today, and although things aren't perfect I'm pretty happy with my lot.
How about you? Are there things you regret? Maybe something you did, or didn't do, something you wish you'd tried when you had the chance?

No regrets here GreenMoo. I have the outlook on life that everything happens for a reason. I think about things in the past and think about if I would have done something differently or handled something differently but I dont wish any of it had a different outcome. I agree with you, If I had done things differently in my life, then I would not be where I am today- and I'm pretty darned proud of myself for where I am today. Thanks for another great post!

I dont know. Maybe we are sometimes better off not knowing what would be. If you knew how things would turn out, if they were different, you might regret the choices you make when you thought you were happy. I know thats kind of hard to follow but thats my thought on it.

There are times when I regret many different things. Some good some bad. I think my biggest regret is moving out the day I turned 18. I was still in high school, but i did finish. I dont regret it b/c I moved in w/ my boyfriend at the time *now husband* but I regret it b/c my parents and I have not been close since. My fater does not want my husband at his house b/c he does not like him. I feel that if I'd of waited a bit longer and allowed them to get to know each other more things would be a bit different between them.
