what anime-based or manga-based j-doramas have you watched?

yup. one final missed call is a movie. but there's a series. one missed call i think. i've only watched the movie. it's still a Japanese drama right?

as for GTO, onizuka-sensei isn't really a gangster. he was just unemployed before he became a teacher. he didn't want to do anything unless its teaching. but he had a rough attitude and he handles things often a little violent that's why he was often mistook to be a gangster. and probably because he has so many gangster friends.

or are you talking about Gokusen? yankumi sensei is not a gangster too though. but her family is. she was supposed to inherit the leadership of their clan/gang. but she only wanted to teach so refused the inheritance.

oh.. Gokusen, i din watch b4.. hehe ^_^ oh, so the teacher in GTO is not a gangster ya?? Because he seems to fight very well and he always likes to challenge his students.. And i remember 1 of the episode, he fought off the gangster for his student at an amusement park and he almost missed his exam the next dat rite?? hehe ^_^

yea yea. Onizuka sensei did save his most aloof student, i forgot her name, but she was a pain in Onizuka's butt but still, Onizuka came and save her and he was almost killed when he got stabbed. and yea, he wasn't able to answer any questions in his exam because he already fainted. poor Oni-sensei. i would have love to have a teacher like that. as well as Yankumi.

LOL ^_^ There will be a teacher like onizuka sensei if u enroll for martial arts lessons.. LOL

i would really like to enrol in a martial arts class, like karate or something. but i think that's too late for me. i'm not as stretchable as before. and i would be chicken to enrol unless i'm with someone who would enrol too. it would be cool to have a teacher and a friend like Onizuka. ^__~

There are many types of martial arts for different age groups, secret ^_^ If u think u are not as flexible as b4, u can try, kick boxing.. It's a combination of dancing with boxing.. It's very fun and Good exercise too.. hehe ^_^

I thought kick boxing is only kicking and punching? ^__^;; I didn't know there's dancing there. how come? have you tried it?

I dunno if there's a trend in your country but in singapore, they have incorporate kick boxing and dance together for quite some time.. I din try it b4, but it's fun and very good exercise.. hehe ^_^ ANd u will be jumping and moving around for the whole session til it ends ^_^

i think they haven't done that here. or if they have already did, its not yet popular. but i would love to try it because i like dancing!

Maybe ^_^ But there are many kinds of dancing fights in singapore, including samba combat.. LOL ^_^ Now i'm waiting who will be the creative one to combine yoga with combat.. LOL

samba?? really? i love the beat of samba! how could they have made a fighting style out of it! i think yoga wouldn't be a good fighting style since it has a lot of slow movements and rest.

It's started by the brazilians and thus the name is called samba.. hehe.. But it's very different from the original latin samba dances.. Samba combat is more like traditional dances but combined with kicking all that.. Normally 2 ple can dance and they will like fight each other, but their fist and legs wun touch the opponent at all.. Just the motion ^_^ But the trick is, it requires your body to be very flexible.. LOL
Taiji is also a form of fighting and it's slow too.. LOL

Sorry to disappoint u, but it's a no again.. LOL ^_^ I've only seen the dances.. hehe ^_^ And ya, if u come to singapore, there's a place whereby u can see groups and groups of ple practising their hip hops dances.. LOL ^_^

lol. I've watched this with my sister last week. Actually we're not through yet because she haven't finished downloading it yet due to internet disruptions (blackouts). hehe. We really got hooked. It's really funny. It's our expression nowadays to say gyabo!, it's Nodame's expression when she's hit by Chiaki. To think we thought this j-dorama is a drama, because it began with a rather mellow and emo mood. We though we'd hate it, we hate emo shows. hehe. But turns out to be a comedy. hehehe.

i'm actually accidentally shouting mukya! or gyabo! whenever i'm in a pinch and feel like shouting! nodame is really a funny girl! and she steals her classmate's bento! LOL i also thought it was going to be a real melodramatic show because of Chiaki! he was really handsome though! ^__^

wahehe! gomen, i downloaded all of that. i dont usually stream because i dont have the time. lol. but i think First Kiss and Engine are the only available because Kizarasu was removed, i can't upload Fuma no Kojiro, Kurosagi and DXD because the fansub sites dont allow their work to be streamed and my RAW upload gets rejected---as always! yeah, im addicted to BAKA-ness too.lol.

Taiga drama is a long historical drama with more or less 45-50 episodes. it is based from historical events, person or myth. for example the legendary warrior Miyamoto Musashi. its pretty good actually, this Taigas. hehehe.

i managed to find some of them at crunchyroll and mysoju.com. i seldom watch on streaming sites , although before i watch a lot at crunchy and youtube. but since i had a realplayer, i can download these videos directly from these streaming sites.

i only managed to find the Taiga with GACKT on it. but it was a bonus that i saw "moonchild".

i got a long list now. after i finish a few of them, i know who to ask for other series recommendation. arigato ne!

i download videos from crunchy using realplayer. you just have to download realplayer at realplayer.com and install it in your computer. it has a feature which you can record/download videos from streaming sites. i don't know if its bad or good but since i had realplayer, i keep on downloading everything! and i really need to put some of my downloads in a dvd or a pen drive.

really? i wonder why is that. after you have downloaded the realplayer, open it and install it. and then, you'll just have to open the video you want to download. put the cursor on the video and a "button" will appear above the video with the link "download this video". you just have to click that and wait for a while and a new small window will appear which will show the download progress.

wei??? i watched this too!!!!! mike he suggoi. chuu kawaii. people tend to compare Why Why Love to Devil Beside Me bu i think the former is the best. just my opinion though! lol. i also watch Taiwan drama as long as its actually damn funny and good storyline. but im not really into K-dramas. just a handful.

i watched a couple of episodes of Devil Beside You and i wasn't impressed that much. although some scenes were really funny. i watch a couple of Taiwanese dramas too, like Silence (i love this, made me cry a lot and used too many tissues), Meteor Garden, and Mars and some i can't remember. i just really prefer J-doramas. if i would put it in ranking, J-dorama would be number 1, K-dramas second and Taiwanese dramas third.

you can download You're under arrest on d-addicts. But i highly recommend Isohunt because you can find lotsa stuff there. anything and everything. but if you want subbed j-doramas d-addicts is the best. hihihi!

yeah its easy because all the subs and raw version is in there and fansub sites use d-addicts as a tracker. yep! its easy, you just need a uTorrent to handle your downloads.

Isohunt is good i guarantee you. a lot and different tracker handled by Isohunt so you can choose the most seeded to hasten the download. you just have to choose the one thats being subbed! i dont buy anything just download them, im a bit stingy about money...ok a lot stingy! lol.

i have already downloaded torrent just last weekend and i'm downloading the Prince of Tennis ova. i have not yet tried to download anything from d-addicts but i will definitely do that. there's a j-dorama with Yuu Shirota that i would like to watch and its not on crunchy. isohunt sounds awesome. is it www.isohunt.com?
