My son's teacher called me 2 nights ago. She just wanted to give me a call and let me know how proud she is of my son. It seems his classroom behavior has changed dramatically over the last few months. He has done a complete 180 when it come to classroom behavior. I got his report card the day before and it is the best one he has ever brought home. It was a very nice phone call. Has you child teacher ever taken the time out of her evening with her own kids to tell you how great yours is?

That was nice of her, usualy when you hear of teachers calling home it is not usualy good news. None of my sosn teachers have ever called home to let me know how well my boys were doing, it would have been nice though.

My daughter is in a program where her preschool teacher comes to the home 1 time a month. And we haven't gottern a bad report yet. My child is friendly and outgoing. She improves each month. It must have been nice to hear! I think that is terrific.

Yes mine has and I think it is a wonderful thing. I also thinks it helps because then parents do hate the thought of talking to their child's teacher. I know that my nephew did very well on a project and when the school called home that day they thought oh great now what. When the teacher gave the good job talk it was like the parents did a 180 themselves on helping my nephew school work. I think what she did helped the parents more then the child but the child was so proud of himself.

No they have not, but they do make a point of pointing it out at parents evenings and such and also the present them with trophies if they think that a child is trying extra hard and has made big improvements. It is such a wonderful feeling as well, and you must be really proud of him!!
