Are you more afraid of dying or not knowing where you will end up after?

I have a sister who is afraid of the unknown. She is okay with the dying part, I guess because we all have to die anyway but not knowing what to expect afterwards is I guess kinda scary. I don't like the fact that I don't know how I am going to go. will I be shot, stabbed, raped, kidnapped, or die from a very painful disease..........that is what I am afraid of.
How about you. What are you more afraid of: How you will go, the not knowing what happens after death, or dying altogether?

I am more afraid that my wishes won't be carried out in the end. I wish to be creamated. I am not sure that my daughter has the strength to go ahead with it.
I am not afraid of dying. I just want it to be painless and quick.
As for the afterlife, will we really ever know?

Fear of the unknown is a fear that is really bugging me for quite sometime. I think its a state of mind that i cannot really get rid of my mind right now. But then I think we can really get rid of these fears as I know that fear is something that is only created by our mind and our mind alone. I am working on my own fears and I think I am slowly getting the hang of it. Of the thing that it will stay in your mind is that if you are constantly thinking about it.
