If you continually receive + ratings your number and colour will continue to rise.
If you get - ratings continually your colour and points will go down.
Blue 10 is the highest colour and points.

| | | 2. jhl930 (2836) | 2 years ago |  From what I have heard about those stars thats where people rate you on the question that you ask and on the answers that you give people....I have also heard a few people say that they thought that that affected your pay but I don't know about that one way or the other..I think that like I said that just depends on how you answer peoples question and how they rate you...I don't think that it has anything else to do with anything...but that is just my opinion..I really haven't looked into that that much...

It is not at all a stupid question, after remaining here for almost six months with posting almost around 500, i understood. It is your rating, which is combination of many factors, quality writing/best-response/photo-feature do play important roll. But i never bothered, even, when i was at 500 +, my star was changed to red and rating to 9, also one has to be active. You may observe, some members with 200 + postings and are rated with blue star (10). have a nice time
