Or just eat the evidence pdq and no one will be the wiser.

Well, if he is happy, then perhaps leave him there. Don't want to put a fish in the ocean that could freak out at unlimited space and the fact it has to find its own food.

I think you should eat him and then, given the nature of spicy asian food, rush to the toilet where he will be released into the wild waters of the toilet. Of course he may need a bath when he gets out.
