I always make sure I shred them, because they contain my details on them and if someone else grabs hold of this information they can use it to steal your identity! So it is important that this confidential delicate information doesn't fall into the wrong hands, so it's best to burn or shred it rather than just throw it away as people have been known to go through letter to find them. I never take up the offers and I hate spam mail.

Another thing I have heard is to dump your cat tray on them, or so they say. People do not like to fish through that for details.

I shred them before they hit the trash. I do not want them getting into the wrong hands.

I have a shredder and they get shredded, at least the part that has any personal information on it. It is the only safe thing to do anymore.

I shred everything that has any of my information on it. We have to watch out for those "dumpster divers".

Same here, I never even open the envelope anymore, you can spot them a mile off.
