I'm Coming Out of The Closet!!!!  

I would go see Weird Al. He cracks me up. I love the parody he did of Taylor Hicks with his "Do I Creep You Out" song.

Taylor not a big fan of but I listen to Kelly Clarkson.

You won't see me singing Thriller EVER! But I guess if I had to come out of the closet and admit to listening to cheesy singers from back in the 80's it would have to be Poison. I love Poison and if not for my sweetie I would be sending in an audition tape to the Rock of Love with Bret Michaels. lol

So there you have it. I was even a member of the Bret Michaels fan club as little as 2 years ago. My secrets out. Now where did I put my Aqua Net and hi tops?

I guess I'm coming out of the closet too by admitting that my all-time favorite male singer is Neil Diamond.

Every song he's recorded impacts me, but none more than his "The Story of My Life" -- which, if you listen to the words is a truly beautiful song, and his deep, rich voice only enhances those lyrics.

Well, since you asked for it, I might as well answer you.
I used to love Duran Duran, and I was so ashamed of it back in 80's, luckily my madness didn't last long. But I still like to see Simon Le Bon.:)

I LOVE LOVE LOVE TAYLOR HICKS!!!!When he was on American idol I watched him every week with a huge smile.I voted until my fingers hurt.Went to a few of his concerts and bought and paid for his first cd he made before he was on American Idol that cost me 40 dollars on ebay.I also of course have a few shirts and a proud memeber of his fan club.also bought his new cd when it came out.So yes I love him.I think he sings wonderful,fun dancer,cute,sexy,just everything.Glad to know a few of us still know a good singer when we see him(hear him in this case)!Go SOUL PATROL...Me and Taylor forever...

The name sounds more like an unfortunate accident that happened to you whilst being fitted for a new suit. 'I'm suffering from the Taylor Hicks'

I am sure he is excellent, skinny, he just hasn't made it over the pond yet.

However, I do know of Weird Al and I think he is excellent. I love parodies and he has done some fantastic ones. White and Nerdy and Eat It are two I can recall.

I think for cheesy songs, you can't beat Black Lace.

There's nothing wrong with loving Taylor Hicks. I voted for him many times last year because I thought he was different and interesting. He seems like a nice guy, too.

I used to like Weird Al, but I don't think I've ever been to any of his concerts, though he is sorta local. I remember liking Michael Jackson when I was younger. Actually, a lot of girls went nuts over Michael Jackson. I think my friends had the Thriller album, too.

Whew....It feels good to come out of the closet. I'm rather claustorphobic and it's stuffy in there.

Well, I am pretty open on my choice for music. Don't care who you are i listen to what I listen to.
But i do feel a little ambivalent with one song:

sometimes I think it's ok other times I think it sounds too cheesy even hilarous. It goes like this...

Sometimes I think it's ok. other times I think it's got to be the worst choice of lyrics ever.

I also like Taylor Hicks... i think he is the most unique American Idol winner there is... it is just too bad that this former record company did not market his first album well... but i think it also sold a lot... but the only problem is that it did not reach the 1 millionth mark... but that is just crazy...

I hope he his next record company will do more good for him...
