I think that explicit display of female on the net has spoiled the importance of 'Sensitive feminine beauty'. What do you think?

It's not only the internet, though that's contributed somewhat. It began with the movies and television glamourizing a certain style or look.
I was on a board the other day and some guy posted a really "hot" girl that I thought was nothing special. Then I realized I'd bought into the whole beauty thing.
The problem is not so much that there's a proliferation of female forms on the net or on tv, it's that we women have grown to disrespect ourselves so much that women and girls will post their likenesses, clothed and unclothed, anywhere and actually be proud of it.
I think it's more of a self-respect problem than anything. The guys I hang with still think most women are lovely, especially if they're clothed and there's some mystery there.
