This is a cute story.
Amber Keeley takes her pet blue Swedish duckling everywhere, even to her job interview at a mall in Kalispell, Montana, USA. "I didn't want to leave her in the car, because it was cold," she said.
I wonder of she got the job?Hmmm... photo attached.

If she was interviewing at a pet store I bet they gave her the job right away! Surely it had to do with animals or she would have found someone to watch the duck? It's so cute that I don't know how anyone could turn her down.

It would be interesting to know what kind of job it was & whether or not she got it.

That is cute but I saw a cuter picture!! The avatar that shows for your ID in my email it is a puppy with a kitten on its head. I thought you had changed your avatar but obviously you haven't as on your discussion I still see your photo. This glitch happen to another of my friends last week and is still there so I think you are stuck with the puppy one.
Here is a photo of what I see for your avatar!

Forgot what I was going to say... I think that is not really a very good idea if she wants the job and what would the duck do for 8 hours while she worked? I adore my pets but I would not take them on a job interview. I already drive every crazy with my digital pictures that I carry every place with me..

Thats weird. My avatar in your email shows as a puppy & kitten! As least something nice was put there.. by a glitch.
I can't see the photo from here, I have to go to your profile page I think.

Good point. I dont know what she planned to do with the duck. What if it wanted to do a poo?

Cute but a little weird. I would doubt she got the job. I mean its nice to love your animals but thats just silly. My mom works in a restaurant and a lady tried to bring her dog in. My mom refused you cant have animals in a restaurant well this lady called the better business bureau and even they laughed about this lady.

Very true. I imagine this woman wasn't applying for a job that had anything to do with food.

I sure hope it was a pet shop, so they could see how dedicated she is to her duck. People should never leave their pet in the car. I would have hired her and she could bring the duck to work. We could make the duck a nice spot to stay while Amber cleaned ponds and spent time weeding.
The duck is sure cute. I'm glad she is a caring person.

Well, they didn't say it was a pet shop, so I suspect not.
In adelaide, there are ponds in the city centre, which some ducks make their home. Sometimes the Police have to direct traffic to stop to allo0w these duck families to cross the busiest roads in our city.

The city I use to live in had a duck crossing. Friends would come to visit and think I must have put up the sign. I love animals and don't want them to get hurt. There are a family of ducks at the closest park to me.

Another avid animal lover!! Awesome!! I love the picture and the story... thanks for sharing it with us!! I wonder if she got the job too. I hope so but then again some employers can be so hard to please.

I imagine the prospective employer didn't know what to think.
I love all animals, but mine wouldn't be too impressed if I took them out with me.
