Tell Me About Destin

My family is planning a trip to Destin, Florida in June. We're looking for ideas on what to do while we are there besides vist the beach. Do you have any suggestions? We have a 1st grade and a 5th grader and need ideas that they will enjoy.
All suggestions are welcome.

You have picked a very wonderful place to vacation. The beaches are really kicking but there is tons of stuff to do besides that. If you have the opportunity to visit Seaside which isn't too far from Destin...that would be a suggestion from me. It's beautiful and interesting. They have little gallerys where you can pick up prints by artists and cute little shops....and their are things for the kids to do to! Hope you have a wonderful time!

Thank you for the suggestion. We'll have to do a little research in Seaside. I can't wait for vacation. It seems sooooo far away!
