Nice ideas. But, how would make sure that caste and race did not matter in practice? Woudl you allow affirmative action to make up for past injustices? Isn't that still considering race and caste? While I would like to just work weekends, how would people make enough money to live? How would you country's economy function if everyone just partied all the time? See the thngs you have to consider if you really are in charge of your country's laws?

i said the educational institutions.. when we enjoy the weekends and move for the schools/colleges the next day i think a lot about this. well cast and race cannot be eliminated completely but a try for that will make a lot....

Okay, educational institutions on weekends only. But, then could we learn enough to be comptetive if we only learned 2 days a week and partied the rest of the time (not to mention we would forget A LOT of stuff). We would have to extend the school year. Which would really suck.

I live in Canada, and to answer your question, first,I would have to get rid of about 85% of the existing laws and start from scratch, most of the laws are over 50 years old and totally redundant. I would of course reinstall the laws regarding crimes against people, such as rape, murder, robbery, assault, and regular laws to protect the individual. I know this is impossable as the jerks in parliment would not allow it as they would loose to much money fines and such, and would not be able to tax people for goals and such. nice idea though.

How hilarious, on the main page, this marked as "mature" content. Proably the word r*pe confuses them. Of course, such a radical notion as getting rid of the laws and starting over would be frightening to the childish minds in charge. I like it. You have a point about needing an overhaul of the laws. Some are ridiculous and are never enforced. In the US, we have something called "selective" enforcement. Old laws that are only enforced to harass a specific individual. As you can imagine, smart defense attorneys smack that down right quick.

isn't that the truth though, yea,a lot of them are just for harrasment cases. do you still have the one that when you are released from prison, they are to supply you with a horse, rifle and handgun.?

A law that would make it illegal for any county not to provide adeqate housing for the homeless thus helping those unfortunate people with little kids and no homes to once again be able to live productive and happy lives. the sight of people without homes makes me want to cry as this is one wealthy country who should be taking care of its citizens. The United States should be ashamed to have homeless families on their streets after all we are a well todo nation.

For whom would it be illegal? If housing was not provided who would go to jail? Where would the money come from to pay for these homes? What happens if the homeless people don't want to live in the homes? Or trash them and demand another new home?
