Daily i take little pain to get fresh vegetables and fruits from near by market for the day.Normally i avoid storing the fresh ones in the refregerator, as the doctors say they may not be good for health as they loose some important minerals and vitemins. What do you like?

even if I want to, I can’t have fresh veggies everyday. One is the time, neither my hubby nor me can go to the market in the morning. So I try to buy in the evening while returning from office. But then again we are only three in the family, so I want to buy in small quantities. But the vendor doesn’t always want to sell so small quantities. So again I have to buy more and store in the fridge.

I have to store my food in the refrigerator, even my breads and grains because bugs will get to them. Some foods I can keep in a tupperware container, but all the veggies go in the fridge. Also, if I didn't put them in the fridge, they would go bad before I can really eat them. I keep some things out to ripen, like avocados, then, once I cut them, I put them in the fridge, too.

I also buy fresh vegetables but yes I store them in my fridge to keep them fresh longer. I think it is just opposite if you leavedthem out at room temperature they will lose vitamins and also lose good taste too. I like my tomatoes specially chilled and my greens too.
