When creating banners to place on PTC sites

Do you ad the link in your banner, or do you submit your banner (graphic only) that is hosted and submit the link to the admin?

Hi sedel! Most sites require the url for the banner you are submitting. Very rarely do they want the html. On the sites I belong in the section 'my referral stats' the url for the banner is provided so it's simple to retrieve it and submit it to the sites. When there is no url I upload the site banner to Photobucket and then I get a url from there and use that. Hope this helps.

Thanks. I am just going to create an image and upload it to photobucket. Then submit the URL to whatever site I am using. I am use to designing banners for websites where the URL has to be embedded in the image.

It depends what the actual site asks for. Many just ask for the banner URL. Some may want the banner URL & the site you are linking it to. Others may want the full html code.
