I adore t-shirts. I get one every conference or event I go to, even when I tell myself I'm not going to. This weekend, when I was at the annual Hampshire College "From Abortion Rights to Reproductive Justice" conference I bought two. One is for my friend Linden and says, "Reclaim your gender". It's purple and I bought it because I don't often wear tightfitting clothes that show off my curves (of which I have plenty including in some places I wish I didn't), but this shirt is pretty tight on me as it's only a 1x. However, I resolve to embrace my inner femme and if any guy wants to bother me, I'll tell him exactly where to go in language I don't often use.
I have about 100 activist t-shirts. I read somewhere that you can give them made into a quilt if you don't want to get rid of them. I'm thinking about that because some of my shirts are too small to ever wear again, but are too precious for me to get rid of. Besides, if I empty my closet space I can buy more shirts (alterior motive).
What's your t-shirt collection of? How long have you had it? Do you have shirts that you can't wear anymore or that are falling apart, but you love them anyway?

When I was in highschool, I wore many t-shirts that had sayings on them like " I'm with stupid" or "Wide Load".I also have a few rock and roll t-shirts. I have a cool Metallica t-shirt.I don't wear t-shirts with sayings anymore but I have kept them.I hear that you can frame them and hang them like artwork.

I'v never been a big fan of t-shirts. I usually wear one at home when I'm just releaxing, but I would never go out in public in just a t-shirt. I prefer a nicer shirt for work or going out.
