Age is not a problem. My friend's parents have an age difference of 11 years (with the man being older) and are happy. This is actually good. If you're 23 and earning, you can support her financially as well. My ex was 5 years older than me..I was 18, he was 23. Same situ as yours. We were happy and age difference did not matter at all. Go for it. Good luck.

Like the others have said, she is an adult, and the gap isn't really THAT big! If you begin to love each other then I see no problem there whatsoever ! =]

hey alcazar... I think thats totally okey. well, it really depends on the girl. If I were you, if I really like her then Ill pursue her. Theres no harm in trying. 18 years old is mature enough to handle a commitment.

as long as you are both consenting adults i see no problems with you both pursing a realationship. the age gap is not a huge one and if you both feel the same then go for it :)

Well 18 means she is an adult so she can do what she would like to do and a 5 years age difference is not all that much I dont think. If you really care for her then you should ask her out I think you should always take the chance at happiness when you can.
