movies start trends and can define your life or change it.
i watched a youtube video of the beegee's song 'you should be dancing...' and it showed clips of John Travolta dancing in the movie 'saturday night fever' and i got to thinking...how many lives did this movie change with the start of the disco era?
how about you? what movie impacted you a lot?

there are lots of movies that made an impact in my life
one is casa blanca, because it made me consider what is the best for the people i love, it may always be good for you but in the end, you know it is for the best, like humphrey bogart giving up ingrid bergman because he knows her future is better with her husband and she should spend her future with her husband
two, i love finding forrester, it made me want to learn and look and see people more than your first impression... maybe the movie is deeper than my understanding but the relationship and trust built between the old man and the young boy is truly inspiring and enviable... i wish i have a mentor just like that
three, lord of the rings, it changes my standard about books and movies, looooooooooooooooooooovvveee both books and movies hehehe plus if you really imagine enough, you can create masterpieces

I have to recognize that this film is not one of my times but i saw it and i enjoyed it. I can't say it change my life but every good ( and i underline "good") film can influence us a little, it can give us some ideas of life.
A movie that impressed me very much, which remained in my mind was "Singin' in the rain". It is a beautiful musical comedy and romantic film. It worth to be seen from all romantics.
I like very much the movies with Al Pacino. The most impressed me "Scent of a Woman", a comedy and drama movie. It is about a young student who need money and he agree a job to "babysit" an irascible blind medically retired officer man. In the end both learned something from each other. It is fun but in the same time the hair of all your body it get up in some scenes.
