is the things inside your bag in order or in topsy turvy?

I usually carry a big bag since I tend to bring many things when going out. I try to organize stuff in my bag before goint out the door but always end up having a messy bag at the end of the day. The side pockets and the many compartments is not much of a help. :(

In my purse, everything is all lined up and stacked up against everything else and SO FULL that I can't close it...and one day a couple years ago, I had to go the bathroom in a store. I thought there would be a coat hook that I could hang my purse from but there wasn't. So I had to sit it on the back of the toilet. When I finished and turned around to get my purse, it FELL OVER the toilet upside down! I could just imagine everything falling out and going into the toilet. BUT...it was so full that nothing even moved! I was amazed.

Hello there sweetie, I know that this is a ladies' question, but I feel like I want to answer this. I don't bring a bag on most normal days, but should I go camping or for a long-trip drive, I do bring my back-pack and I've always been the "minimalist" sort of guy when it comes to packing things. Maybe it's the nature of a guy, I'm not sure or it's just me, because some of my buddies do top up a lot of things when going for trips like this and they will tend to overflow, LOL. Therefore, back to my packing things, I do it like so little. I tend to buy things so I pack less. Like if I could pack 4-5 shirts in my back-pack, I just tend to take 1 or 2 only and for the shortages, I would just buy it outside. That's something about me that I tend to do; and it's a pretty bad habit actually. But then, I don't like packing too much stuff. I used to have an ex-girlfriend who packed things like you and her things would appear to be topsy turvy. But I find it cute and sexy. Not sure why. ;)

Normally I have things separated somewhat so I know which compartment to find things, but it's not necessarily all neat and tidy. I just broke the strap on that purse, though, and the one I'm using now doesn't have any compartments, so there goes that idea. Everything is just lumped in there now.

Yes, my bag is totally topsy turvy. I have to say, for a small bag, when I stick my hand in there I feel like it went into a vortex or black hole of sorts...i can't ever find anything easily in there! I sometimes have to take out other items before I can get what I'm actually looking for because even if I just put it in my bag it somehow ends up at the bottom. This usually happens with my cell phone...

I have recently done a excavation of my bag, so that everything is orderly. I don't carry my bag at all anymore so I guess it doesn't really matter.

Oh my bag is a disgrace, I get so cross when I am out and I go in my bag for something (usually my pen) and I cannot find anything. I just throw things in, and it does not help that my bag is huge it is more like an overnight bag than a handbag!!

No mine is really tidy probably because I sort it out everytime I go out, as ive two small children so I have things to take for them so I normally sort it all before we go out. Before the children though it was always a mess and full of stuff that I hadnt used in weeks!
