Lets look at some recent Findings from a world-leading Astrophysicist, writing in the January issue of the New Statesman,"The global temperature of 2007 is statistically the same as 2006, and every year since 2001." At the same time, the Prestigious Nature Magazine published the argument that Arctic Ice melting is simply part of an Energy Transfer, and cannot be attributed to Global Warming. "For the past decade,the world has not warmed," writes Astrophysicist David Whitehouse in the New Statesman."Global Warming has stopped. Its not a viewpoint, or a sceptic's inaccuracy. Its an observational fact!" This is not to say that there are no short-term changes in weather patterns. Forecasts in the last 10 years have become increasingly to predict, says Environment Canada's Top meteorologist David Phillips, noting that weather extremes - record highs and lows, record rains and droughts - have occurred on a more regular basis. That fits with the history of the earth. Over time the Earths temperature rises and falls a little. It does not remain constant. A United Nations chart (UN International Panel on Climate Change) shows over the last 1000 years, the Earth's Temperature has increased by less than 1 Degree C. with small fluctuations in between. In the past 80 years the earths temperature has actually dropped by a mere 0.5 degrees C. But nobody has talked about Global Cooling since the 1970's.
