Thought this was interesting. A Poll was taken for Top Ten Most Favorite Book 1-10. Check it out - do you agree? What's your fav book? I've read the first and the second ones - the others, not interested!

They do have some good ones listed. I'm a big fan of the Harry Potter series, it was a wonderful fantasy with alot of little ethics lessons built in! Dan Brown's two were awesome, I liked Angels and Demons better than the DaVinci code, though. And Catcher in the Rye is a favorite from way back. And now that I've typed all those titles, I can't remember the others on the list, but I know that there are different ones I would put ahead of some of them! Oh, well, to each his own. What was the purpose of this poll, anyways? Seems kind of frivolous.

"Seems kind of frivolous" isn't that what the media and all specialize in these days? And then there are the surveys taken that tell us what we already know from common sense - like a new survey that says something like "a survey just completed says that putting powder on a babys bottom decreases the chance of diaper rash"...
They spent tons of time, effort nad money to tell the world something that all moms since the beginning of time know...why didn't they just ask a few!
I didn't read anyo f the books beside the Bible and GWTW. I am not a thriller or detective or fantasy book reader. But, to each his own and glad everyone has favorties! At least everyone is reading!

I actually find it interesting and even odd that "Gone with the Wind" is a favorite book. Movie, yes, but not the book. Of the others on the list, "To Kill a Mockingbird" was a favorite of mine and I need to read it again. Otherwise, my favorite book is usually the one I've just finished reading!

I thought that to - the book is SO different from the movie. But then I had to ask myself...Did they really read the book or just think they did cause they saw the movie so they said they liked the book.
