Why Harvard, Just Why?

This was a very good article. Thank you for bringing it to our attention. I hope everyone reads it. It is so true. What am I talking about? Go read the article. It's worth the time.

I don't think anyone needs to abandon their own principles or beliefs to be tolerant of others. In this article we're talking about students attending Harvard. I pulled this from an article in the Harvard Gazette,"This year, Harvard's tuition is $26,066 and the total cost of attendance, including tuition, room, board, and other charges is $37,928." with tuition that high, it's not hardly accurate to say 'where they squat...'. The call to prayer and a time of day when women can exercise alone is not unreasonable or exceptional requests. It's as reasonable as a blind person asking for special permission to have their seeing eye dog on campus. It doesn't stop another from exercising their religious customs or from exercising in the gym during co-ed times.

What has happened to our backbone and pride when we allow this to happen. Of course lets not forget the illegal immigrants who can get benefits, think we should not speak English and we are doing nothing about it. Maybe the illegals should get together with the muslims and fight it our who is gong to win in taking over our country because we DAMN SURE DON'T SEEM TO CARE.

Isn't religious freedom something we hold dear in this country?

Harvard is a private institution, so they don't necessarily have the Constitutional mandate to facilitate religious expression, but as a private institution, they are free to make*their own choices* as to how they cater to their students who are paying them a buttload of tuition.

Furthermore, to say that Harvard is a "Christian school" is misleading. It may have been founded as a Christian school, but it's not a Christian school in the same vein as (for example) Bob Jones or Liberty Universities.

There are way too many in America who are all too willing to appease and tolerate things which are detrimental to us as a nation.

Why should we give up our souls to tolerate anything that should not be allowed in the first place.

People who come to America for a better life, better education or whatever other reason should be expected to accept us AS WE ARE, and not try to change our culture to fit into what they just left.

If they miss their old culture so much then I suggest they take the next plane home, or boat, or wade back across the Rio Grande.

We as Americans have a proud culture which to me is much more valuable than some imported one foisted upon us by some homesick foreigner.

If you don't like us as we are, then instead of trying to changes us to fit your ideals I suggest you go back where you came from.

In China,I mean we do not abandon our principles to pacify those guys.
If they want me to change for them.That is impossible.

Why are putting shame on harvard. Harvard is great man. and it is just an opinion. do not over react.

I know this is hard for some to understand but America was founded by, may I dare say Christians. Sorry how many founders of this country were muslim, just an idea. To some you just cannot appease everyone. If you appease one group you might offend another.
