People Who Go Too Far Asking You to Do Things in their Comments

I've noticed that because I posted music videos, a lot of people comment and want some advice too. If it's a simple question, usually I'll answer it for them. If they want the chords to a short piece, I'll type them out and send them.

If they want me to put standard notation into tab for a 2 minute song, they can forget it.

I don't scan sheet music for people either, because it just takes too much time. If they wanted to pay me $5 for doing that, then sure. Otherwise, no.

However, some people post right on their videos that they get all their sheet music online and will happily send it to you. I think those are the only people you should ask about getting the music. And that doesn't mean you should ask them to convert it into tab too!

I don't mind if people just innocently ask me if I happen to have gotten the music online so I can easily send it. I just tell them sorry, no, and which book they can find it in if they're that interested. But some people just post a comment like they are entitled to a music lesson from you and some free sheet music, but of course you must turn it into tabs for them because they haven't learned to play yet. Those are the people that annoy me.
