Yeshi, a Tibetan, was part of the 100,000 Tibetan Souls who walked out of Tibet with the Dali Lama, into North India in 1959, after the invading Chinese army had killed an estimated one million Tibetans. Yeshi remembers the hunger, fear, sleeping in ditches, and the sight of many dead Tibetans as they fled their own country. These Tibetan refugees, and their Spiritual leader established the Tibetan Government in Exile in Dharmasala their new Indian Home. In 1972 Yeshi moved to Canada where he now lives and works. He operates a Himalayan Restaurant called the Oriental Wok in Belleville Ontario. His children have grown up and all have attained University Educations. They live a modern Canadian life, and have always maintained an interest in their parents culture. Yeshi says Canadians are often interested in the Yoga and Meditation practises which help deal with stress, conquering the mind, and making a good Heart. What actions should Citizens of the free world take to help Freedom Reign once again in Tibet?
